These are before and after pictures of my 10 HP single flywheel Callahan pumping engine #1811. In the 'before' picture it is lying on its side after a fire burned the timbers away. It had been used to pump oil in East Brady, Pennsylvania. It took seven years to find a governor for it, but I finally located one in Connecticut thanks to the help of several engine men.

One nice feature about this engine is the governor stops the camshaft from turning when it gets up to its correct RPM, then starts it turning again when the flywheel slows down. The 'after' pictures were taken at the July 1987 Pioneer Gas Engine Show.
